The spring is located in Höllensprudel fountain.The springs were used until 1907 to produce carbonic acid, which was then sold to German breweries. Now they started bottling and selling mineral water. First discovered by Dr. Fritz Wiede, opened 262 m deep borehole. HöllenSprudel is available in Northern Bavaria, Saxony, Thuringia and also in other metropolitan areas.
