Font dOr is a natural mineral-medicinal water, considered to have weakened mineralization. Its meaning is spring of gold. It is sourced from a spring at an altitude of 1,000 metres in the Montseny-Guilleries massif. It was first bottled to be sold commercially in 1957 by Mr Florenci Serras. It was aquired by the Vichy Catalán group in1980s. Under the unbrella of Vichy Catalan, Font D’or has grown to become one of top selling water.
