Dorna is a local Romanian natural mineral water bottled directly at source. The portfolio includes Dorna Izvorul Alb and Dorna Poiana Vinului. The first certification of the mineral waters from Dorna spring dates back about 500 years ago. It was in 1470, when the Romanian ruler Alexandru cel Bun donated the natural mineral spring to Sucevita Monastery. In 1817, the Emperor of Austria-Hungary, Franz Josef the First, mentions in his memoirs that the natural mineral water Dorna is a spring with therapeutic effects, appreciated in the entire Moldova. It is the best water in the whole region. Today, Coca-Cola HBC Romania produces two water brands for the local market: Dorna and Poiana Negri.
