Adelbodner Mineral- und Heilquellen AG was founded in 1948. However, the spring was discovered as a healing spring in 1559. The mineral spring is one of the highest in Europe and is located in the Helvetian scale zone. Today, Mineralquellen Adelboden AG is the only mineral spring in the canton of Bern and has six springs from which mineral water is obtained.
