It is from the rocky depths of the Saxon Upper Lusatia. The springs are in the Oberlausitzer Bergland nature reserve. It is shaped by the foothills of the Egertal volcanism, which here in Upper Lusatia form the largest contiguous granite block in Central Europe. This rock is the reason for the special quality of our water. At a depth of up to 300 m, the water slowly runs through the crystalline granite rock.
