The history of Glashäger begins in 1908. Hans von Blücher founded Mineralquelle Glashagen GmbH. The mineral water was piped to Bad Doberan, where it is still bottled today. In 1910, the Imperial Patent Office made Glashäger a trademark. This laid the foundation for the development of a branded product. Gerolsteiner Sprudel KG entred into Glashäger in 1939. Glashäger has been a member of the family-run Hassia Group since 2005.
