Product of Germany
The Harzer Mineralquelle Blankenburg is a medium-sized, owner-managed mineral spring company from the Harz Mountains that attaches great importance to quality, tradition and regionality and has been active on the market for over 70 years. The spring is located on the edge of the Harz National Park. Commercial use of the springs began in the 16th century. The water was bottled in corked clay jars to sell to the sick, nobles, and wealthy citizens. At that time, 102 thermal and acid springs were already known in the Middle Rhine region, in Nassau and in Hesse. Since industrialization at the end of the 19th century, greater importance has been attached to bottling mineral water.
