Product of France
Vittel is a French brand of bottled water sold in many countries. Since 1992 it has been owned by the Swiss company Nestle. The Vittel spring has been around a long time. It seems it was named after its owner, a Roman general called Vitellius who used it to treat his gout. Vittel spa was created by lawyer Louis Bouloumie. The healing water was bottled in square stoneware bottles with porcelain stoppers in 1857. Louis Bouloumie handed over the reins to his sons and together, they developed the spa resort.
