In 1835 Charles Darwin travels and rests in Villavicencio during one of his trips. There he discovers, in a place near the territory of the Reserve. The Reserve and our Mineral Water owes its name to Captain Joseph Villavicencio, who, attracted by the pure springs and natural beauty, settled in this prodigious place in 1680. Villavicencio water is born from a natural filtration process, infiltrating the heart of the mountain and resting in its depths for thousands of years, to later emerge pure and mineralized.
