Teinacher mineral comes from the Black Forest. It rises from springs up to 100 meters deep in the untouched nature of the Black Forest. The first documented mention of the acidulous springs in Bad Teinach was in 1300. Teinacher Bad became a Royal bath under King Wilhelm I in 1835 and the first bottling is in 1896, by filling in clay jars, packing in wooden crates and shipping by horse and cart.
