Spessart-wald brand is owned by Spessartwald Beverages GmbH in Germany.

Spessartwald mineral water is bottled in Waldaschaff. It was branded as Heerbach once and acquired by the Eder Brewery in Großostheim and Spessartwald Beverages GmbH bottles under the Spessartwald brand. Production is from wells terminating around crystalline at approximately 170 m. These are the gneiss and diorite of the crystalline basement.
