Osta brand is owned by Metzler GmbH & Co. KG private brewery in Germany.

Thuringian mineral water is from the Osta mineral fountain in Dingsleben. In 1995 a deep well was drilled on the property of the Metzler private brewery. Brewing water was to be pumped from this well.
