The spring Tranquil Obernau is located in the idyllic Neckar valley on the edge of the Black Forest, between the Roman and Bishop town of Rottenburg and Horb am Neckar. It has have been in family ownership since 1895. The Romans already appreciated the rich mineral water and transported it far beyond the city limits of Rottenburg. The mineral springs are located in the upper shell limestone of the Neckar valley. The millennia-old rock formations that the water passes through make it rich in calcium and magnesium.
