Minerva water comes up with its own spring carbonic acid from a depth of 399m. In 1879, L. Best and Jean Eigel from Cologne, had come across a productive spring during test drilling and they named it as Minerva. The source is a warm (32° Celsius) alkaline-muriatic-saline acidulous. The water is characterized primarily by its high content of carbonic acid, sodium bicarbonate and sodium chloride.
