The natural mineral water Mangaļi was created 36,000 years ago, before people began to inhabit the territory of Latvia. It has been known since 1994, when its production was started. It is the first registered natural mineral water produced in Latvia. Mineral water Mangaļi is obtained from a certified 213 m deep underground water deposit Mangaļi-2. At this depth, the sediments are protected from any contamination that allows them to obtain naturally clean, living, and mineral-rich water.
