Horneck is a small village in the heart of the Hallertau. It lies in a hilly landscape, surrounded by forests, fields, meadows and hop gardens and is characterized by old farming traditions. The place was mentioned in documents as early as the 13th century, when it belonged to the Hornpeck zu Horneck family.
