It comes from a private source that has long been owned by the Hinkel family, who have lived in Bad Vilbel for generations. The mineral water comes to the surface here in the Wetterau biosphere, a submerged crust of the earth between Vogelsberg and Taunus in the Tertiary period. LIZ is a brand of Hassia Mineralquellen GmbH. The traditional family business is now successfully run by the fifth generation and can look back on more than 150 years of fountain history.
