Fonyodi water is from the protected aquifer of Fonyod, located on the southern shore of Lake Balaton, which is also home to the town of Fonyod - the little brother of the witness mountains of the Tapolca Basin. In addition to its surface economy, the area also hid a real treasure in the deep, as so-called aquifers formed between the Miocene, deep-sea limestone, dolomite, basalt and shale layers.
