The Bad Vilbeler UrQuelle comes from the protective depths of the Vogelsberg. Friedrich Grosholz, the discoverer in 1875 is counted among the founding fathers of the Bad Vilbeler mineral spring companies. He sells the mineral water in earthenware jugs in what was then Vilbel and the surrounding area. In 1967, the Luisen-Brunnen launched Germanys first mineral water brand, the Bad Vilbeler UrQuelle, with little carbonic acid. In 1982, the brand came to Hassia Mineralquellen through the merger of the traditional companies Hassia-Sprudel and Luisen-Brunnen.
